Pre Ceremony Services
- Consultation by telephone/email regarding wedding formalities and assistance with wedding vows. $60.00
- Consultation in person and rehearsal $100.00
- Accompany couple to Registrar’s Office $150.00
(this includes providing transportation and completing all government documents to obtain marriage license, first visit.) - Pick up Marriage license the following day $75.00
(This includes transportation if you wish for me to take you or to pick it up on your behalf.)
Post Ceremony Services
- Obtaining a certified copy of marriage documents from Registrar $75.00
(this includes transportation cost.) This is the document required by your country to signify your wedding was legal in the Bahamas. - Obtaining an Apostille (not applicable for Bahamian Couples)
this document is mandatory for all couples living outside The Bahamas and must be accompanied by a certified copy of wedding documents.
Other Services
- Rental of portable sound system $75.00
(recommended for outdoor wedding groups for 10 or more persons)
Legal Services
- Affidavits $30.00 (per person)
Bachelorhood (for men), Spinsterhood (for women)
These are mandatory if you are single and wish to be married in the Bahamas and they must accompany Marriage License Application. If a person is divorced, a copy of divorce document must be produced. If a person is widowed, a copy of death certificate of former spouse must be produced.
